Big Time Rush
Big Time Rush Big Time Rush, an American
pop boy group was formed in the year 2009. The group is made up of Kendall
Schmidt, James Maslow and Logan Henderson. They initially signed to Nick
Records in 2009 before transferring to Columbia Records. They appeared in
Nickelodeon's telecast series, Big Time Rush. From November 28, 2009 to July 25
2013 the show ran. The pilot episode included "Big Time Rush" the
group's first single as a promotional track. The group recorded three albums:
BTR in 2010 and Elevate in 2011 as well as 24/Seven in 2013. In 2014, the band
went on a break indefinitely which lasted until 2021. The group then returned
to live performances and then released "Call it Like I See The
Album". Nickelodeon signed Big Time Rush to a record deal in 2009
simultaneously with the television show Big Time Rush. Nickelodeon has also
teamed up with Columbia/Epic Label Group for production and original music. The
debut single, "Big Time Rush" was released on the show on the 29th of
November, 2009. Officially announced by Nickelodeon the show was first
broadcast in the U.S. in November 2009 and then made available worldwide. The
song was played in a trailer for the series for one hour , and is the show's
first tune. Promotional singles were also released by the show, which included
"City is Ours" (with Big Time Rush) and "Any Kind of Guy".
Big Time Rush performed "Famous" by Play. The song was released to
iTunes on June 29, 2010, The song's second, "Halfway There", was also
released on iTunes after its debut on the show. It quickly became the first
single to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Due to sales on digital platforms the
track climbed to 93. Big Time Rush's second single, "Till You Forget About
You" was released on the 21st of September on the 21st of September. The
purpose of the release was to announce the release of their debut album. The
album, called BTR it was launched on the 11th of October on the 11th of
October, the 11th of October, 2010. The album debuted at the top of three on
the Billboard 200. It sold the album at 67,000 copies in its first week.
