Evan Rachel Wood

Evan Rachel Wood was born on the 7th of September, 1987 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her father, Ira David Wood III is a theatre writer and actor, while her mother Sara Wood is an actress and acting coach. Her older brothers are Dana Wood, a singer, as well as Ira David Wood IV, who also has acted. Evan and her brothers have frequently appeared at Theatre In The Park in Raleigh. Her father started it and is its director-executive. After a long audition process at the age of five, she was old when she had the opportunity to screen-test against Kirsten Dunst. She is the daughter of Sara Wood and Ira David Wood III. Little sister to Ira David Wood IV and Dana Wood. She is a trained dancer. She likes to sing, swim or rollerblade and also go back on horses. She is black belt in tae kwon do. She is in contact with many of her Once and Again (1999 castmates: Mischa Barrton, Julia Whelan and Shane West.
